Description

Support the achievement of quality outdoor recreation experiences and resource stewardship for present and future generations by being a Colorado State Parks Campground Host!

The campground host program is one of our most popular volunteer opportunities. In exchange for a free campsite and a free volunteer parks pass (with 48 hours of service), campground hosts meet and greet arriving campers, offer check-in assistance, perform minor maintenance tasks and promote interpretive/educational activities. Most parks require a minimum commitment of 6-8 weeks, and prefer hosts that can cover the entire season, from May to mid September. On average, campground host are required to work 20-25 hours per week.There are multiple parks that still need campground hosts during the peak season.
