Assist park staff with park restoration efforts after a Russian olive removal project
Park staff and volunteers will be working in the riparian area near the City's greenhouse to begin restoration efforts following a Russian olive removal project. Volunteers will plant native trees and shrubs, seed areas, install fencing and signs and remove litter. The project will run from 8am-noon. Registration and lite breakfast will be at the Greenbelt picnic shelter at 2800 S. Estes St. Volunteers can walk or drive from there to the project site. Lunch will be provided. Please wear appropriate work clothes, bring gloves and extra water.
