Southeast Region - Volunteer OpportunitiesColorado State Parks Statewide Programs
DescriptionSupport the achievement of quality outdoor recreation experiences and resource stewardship for present and future generations by being a Colorado State Parks Volunteer! Volunteer opportunities abound with Colorado State Parks Southeast Region. Volunteers perform tasks ranging from visitor center assistants, general park maintenance, campground hosts, trail maintenance, and naturalist, to photographers and backcountry horse or bike patrollers. Each year individual and group volunteers are needed throughout the region to support both short and long term volunteer events and special projects. The minimum age for volunteering as an individual is 13 years old. However, if you are 12 years old or younger, you may volunteer if accompanied by a guardian or responsible adult. Please note, some parks may require individuals to be 16 years old. If, as a volunteer, you are 17 years old or younger, your parent or guardian must complete a Parental Approval form.
