Description

Patrol, monitor and help maintain your favorite BLM trailhead, campground, picnic area, or boat ramp.

As an Adopt-a-Site sponsor you, or members of your organization or business, will regularly spend time at your adopted site. While you’re out, you’ll be on the lookout for anything unusual. You may perform light maintenance including trash removal, restroom cleaning, fire ring maintenance or removal, weed control and fence/barrier repair. Sponsors should also take note of more significant maintenance needs, safety concerns or resource damage/violations and report them to the BLM. Maintenance projects may be organized by sponsors, but must be authorized and planned in conjunction with the BLM.
