This opportunity is currently closed - Review, score and provide written comment on grant applications submitted to the State Trails Program

Each November, agencies and organizations around the State submit grant applications to the State Trails Program for funding of their projects. We are looking for individuals to review approximately 10-20 applications, score each based on existing criteria and provide written comment to help the writer for the future and justify the scores given. This opportunity would require approximately 20-30 hours to complete. The goal is to provide quality input to assist the State Trails Program make decisions in prioritizing projects for grant funding. In the 2006-2007 grant cycle, over $2 million was awarded to various projects. A qualified reviewer is objective, independent, analytical, fair, honest, consistent, professional, diplomatic, thorough, able to provide written constructive criticism and be broadly knowledgeable about trails.
