Location Vega is 55 miles east of Grand Junction. If going east take exit 49 off I-70 if going west take exit 62, to HWY 65, go about 18 miles on Hwy 65 and turn left onto HWY 330. Go about 24 miles to the town of Collbran. Stay on 330 East past Collbran for about 8 miles to Mesa County Rd. 64 6/10ths Rd. and turn right at the “Vega State Park” sign. Go 5 miles to the Park Entrance Station, and go another half mile and turn right across Vega Dam to the Park Visitor Center Box 186 Collbran, CO, 81624 Mesa County Category Grounds/Facilities Maintenance Dates This is an ongoing opportunity. Description

Spend your days working in a winter wonderland performing snow removal and park maintenance at Vega State Park.

Winter park maintenance includes but is not limited to snow removal (shoveling walks, clearing roads and parking lots), equipment maintenance and repair, cleaning buildings, and patrolling park grounds (contacts with park visitors and dispensing public information), sales of park permits and collection of park fees.
